After a flattering,"Superb" review from some of my friends about DON, I was enticed to watch the Farhan Akhtar directed modern-day adaptation of Don..I'll be frank in saying that I was not too enamored with the original,but I had some decent expectations from FA's team,after what he did with DCH and Lakshya!!

Missed the first few minutes of the movie,but now I'm glad I was spared!!The movie starring Hakla,with Kareena reprising Helen's role had created a lot of hype pre-release..Sample this from Indiadaily courtesy greatbong!!(I wonder how could I miss such hot news tit-bits for so long,had it not been for greatbong, i would have been in the dark about so many things!!!) The movie also starred Priyanka Chopra who "supposedly" had this to say about her male co-stars in Bollywood,courtesy Indiadaily again Priyanka Chopra likes to flirt with Bollywood males not become slave of love with any of these smelly creatures

SRK as the suave don is manageable,but as the village bumpkin fails misearbly,no comparisons with Big B here!!Everyone knows the story so nothing of the plot here..There's an unexpected twist at the end,some special effects during car-chase sequences and the like,and Boman Irani which are worth a watch.

My readers know I cannot have words of praise for Hakla,but I'll be "very generous" this time around..He's "OK",period....Expecting anything more for his acting skills is asking for a little toooo much.One of the nicest messages he advocates is Don doesn't smoke,and now that Ive "finally" quit,courtesy my sister who had read my earlier blogs and I couldnt keep her in the dark, thats one social message well conveyed to the junta.
Priyanka's cool,Isha looks great to the eye,Arjun does just fine.Kareena could have been dispensed with..She looks so plump when she shakes her booty to that immortal Helen dance number.With the weight she's putting on,boyfriend Shahid beware(He seems to be getting prepared for "Vivah" soon,but lemme tell u that's a dud even b4 it releases!!)

Crackers time

The festival season is in full swing..Dussehra was just around the corner..and its time to make preparations for Diwali festivities..and here I am again idling my fata$$ with my superiors lurking at my "back",unwilling to grant me leave coz I never asked in the first place!!(he he he he) The only crackling sound bursting during Diwali is when "meri phatti hai"..and thats not a pleasant experience and once in a while!!I'm frequently questioned as to why I dont give to my native during holidays..and I'm left with no valid reason with which to shut uptheir gaping mouths..Its not that I dont want to meet my Dad and sisters,but I spare them the trouble of seeing me live!!My bro is already going home and if we both end up at home simultaneously,that would be asking for too much "double trouble", too tough to handle!!

I surmise the reason of my inertness is my fatass!!I dont want to trouble it much..after all that it undergoes at the hands of my superiors at office,besides myself!!Pity,it also needs some rest after all that "spanking"!!Something also to do with Bangalore,coz I dunno why I seem to love this place inspite of all its shortcomings.I miss all the diyas and sweets at home for sure,bursting crackers with Amy and Sanky and the entire family,meeting friends who drop home then..I wonder what my relatives would be thinking about this ar*&hole who doesnt seem interested to visit home even on such occ"ass"ions,but I care the hell!!I know I love my Dad,and I'll miss all my sisters and their extended families and my bro, but thats life!!You dont get always what you want!!

Miss u all..Have a rocking time..Enjoy maadi & have a safe Diwali.

Joys of pillion riding

Ohhh the joys of pillion riding..You can do so much when you dont have to take all the trouble to drive in Bangalore traffic where the snail pace of vehicles careening through narrow lanes gives you the thrills of Michael Schumacher driving on the dirt tracks of Monza.

Your hands are free to do what they want ;-)..you can put your mouth to good use..for talking/yapping..smoking.you can even put your body weight to good effect..
You can ogle at beautiful damsels riding by your side without having to worry about what the "driver" is looking at!!If the driver is a beautiful damsel herself,there are so many other things that can be done.
