Single V Day

Yet another VDay has fleeted by and its the same old, usual story with me..looking for someone to be my Valentine.
Unlike last year the same day when I penned down a fictional blog about my escapades with a "fiction-of my fecund imagination" girlfriend on this fateful day,I'll be realistic today(That blog was a popular one which was read by quite a few a$%holes who seemed to like the shit I had penned down!!)

The stark truth stares me directly in the face "I'm single" and thats the way I see myself in the years to come until my family decides upon a "sushil, homely" gal to give me company till people recognise me as ex Mr. Rahul.
I have landed in such a situation not entirely by chance but to an extent by design( he he he..just to please my MCP ego a little bit)

So, what remains is my time to celebrate my singlehood..go home and watch other fortunate people gesticualting about how they celebrated VDay on the Idiot box.

Mama again

I became a Mama again some days back..11th Feb to be precise..the sixth and most definitely the last time I'll have such an opportunity.
The baby angel, born a little premature is doing fine, and so is my sister..Hope the best for them.God knows when I'll be able to meet her..I'll have to make do with her innocent pics for the time being

Just came to know today that she has been christened Tanya..such a sweet name
I'm sooooooo elated!!

Bouncing balls!!

The recently concluded test series between arch rivals India and Pakistan ended with a thumping win for the Pakis. No doubt, their team played better all-round cricket than our demi-gods but what was troubling to see was the inability of the famed Indian batting attack to play swing bowling from the likes of Asif Ibal and Abdul Razzaq on bouncing pitches.
The utter subjection of our batsmen to these bowlers was a sight a hardcore Indian fan like me could not bear to see.On placid tracks where Younis Khan,Afridi and Yousuf made mincemeat of Pathan and Khan, our batsmen too replied with scores better than expectations. But on a green-top,one of the best batting line-ups in modern-day cricket crumled in both the innings like a pack of pins, one following the other to the dressing-room as if each was in a hurry to return to the comforts of the pavilion. Our batsmen played like bunnies dancing to the short pitched bouncers from Akhtar and co.,offering strokes to swinging deliveries..People say that its easier to put forth expert comments while not in the middle of action but if the Pakistanis can do it in the absenc eof their inspirational captain, why can't GAWD,WALL and VVS(I'm not mentioning the one and only DADA as I'm a very big hate fan of an opportunistic cricketer like Ganguly and moreover, since he's a Bong to the core!!)
The Pakis raised their game with the back to their walls(Don't presume their "backs" towards multiple Dravids..successful attempt at a PJ!ha ha ha ha)..when it was our turn, even the wall could not steer India to safety.

Best of luck Men In Blue..Better luck in the ODIs.
