One of my maverick faces

2006 - A new beginnning

It was my first working day at my new company Xora and the second day of a brand new year 2006.The HR Manager was telling me about the history of the unique origin of this company.It was founded in 1999 by two enterprising professionals who were employed at Oracle.They googled in vain for a new unique name for their venture.Finally, they settled on Xora-an acronym for eX-ORAcle.

The manager introduced me to the Engineering team in which I'll be working, with a box of sweets.Slowly, I'm developing a taste for chocolates (lots of girls like chocolates too, so i guess it becomes a good choice to break the ice with chicks!!)
I was given a temporary place to rest my fat ass.My Reporting manager told me to read some docs and provide him some insight about 6 Sigma and other process "models"(My mind meandered to the close-ups of hot "models of FTV" i was watching on my newly bought 29" Flat Onida Oxygen CTV yesterday night!!).The quarterly party has been planned at a big resort this Saturday.Hoping to have a gr88 time with some new "friends" there.
