Auto auto!!

Inspired from one of the rediff blogs that I managed to read today inspite of my busy schedule in one of those "Dilbert willies" (in case u r wondering what the last term meant,it is one of the innumerable cubicles in which S/w engineers like us to while away their "precious" time...I checked my e-mails..replied to some..then went for a cup of coffee..Then checked my e-mail again...and then again..until I was totally fatigued...phew!!..That was too much work for a single day...The inspiration also comes from the daily encounters that I have with the auto wallahs...(If you have read my earlier posts( though you could avoid yourself that "torture"), you must be knowing I'm drawing a 6 digit salary in one of the leading s/w companies... and that doesn't doesn't afford me even a two-wheeler.)

Myself: MG Road chalte kya??
Autowallah: 100 Rs only..
Myself: No??
A: why??
Me: You are asking too less...itne kam mein nahin jaaoonga!!!

Me: MG Road ??
A: 120 Rs saar!!
Me: To jao na...kiska munh dekh rahe ho???

Me: MG Road jaate kya bhaiyya??
a: Meter se..
Me: OK..
The fare comes to INR 46.80..I give him 45 rs and a chocolate( Imported one from one of my friends who just returned from Amreeka)..The driver is left flabbergasted..Guess he must be looking for me in the City of Nawabs..ready to beat me to death...
